Laptops running on Intel Atom and Nvidia ION chipset are now available in the market. HP was the first to launch a thin-and-light notebook with ION chipset. Toshiba soon followed suit. The ION chipset is still very uncommon in netbooks with 10 inch displays. But one such device does exist – the Weibu N10A.
This 10.1 inch mini-laptop uses the Nvidia ION chipset. It is now available for purchase in Japan for about $556.
The N10A runs on a single core Intel Atom 230 processor, the kind of processor found in nettops or low-end desktops. Other specifications include 2GB of RAM, a 150GB hard drive and HDMI output. The 10.1 inch display features 1024x600 pixels.
