Once you acquire the mandatory collection of acrobat 9 updates, you might consider creating your own 'slipstream' version of acrobat 9 that includes all updates up to v9.5.5...that is burnt to a cd as an installation disc for full acrobat 9.5.5.. Thank you for posting this! i was going up a wall after reinstalling acrobat 9.0 pro and couldn’t find the update files anywhere. adobe went out of their way to hide them and the links on the website no longer work..

For what ever reason adobe decided to leave out 9.1.0 from their acrobat 9 pro extended updates page: the earliest update they have is 9.1.1. so if you are installing adobe acrobat 9 pro extended, you need to start with 9.1.0 otherwise you wont be able to update to higher versions. so here is the 9.1.0 to start you out:.
