HP has announced without any fanfare its new updated dv7t entertainment notebook. This updated version has new colors and a bigger display. The new dv7t has a 17.3-inch 1600 x 900 widescreen BrightView LCD display as opposed to its original 17-inch, and is available in black and white. The new updated Pavilion dv7t notebook series can be customized by Intel processor of up to Core 2 Quad Q9000 2GHz quad-core processor, up to 8GB of DDR2 memory and up to 1GB ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4530 graphic card quad-core version.
The dv7t entertainment notebook has a choice of dual 500GB hard drive for media files,an optional HDTV Hybrid tuner and includes Ethernet LAN, webcam, Bluetooth and fingerprint reader. You are also presented with optical drive options that includes a Lightscribe Blu-Ray ROM with SuperMulti DVD+/-R/RW double layer. The price of the new updated HP Pavilion dv7t series starts from $799.
